It's going to be a BUSY week for the Savage Heat. A couple things...This Thursday during the halftime of our varsity basketball games against St. Regis, our Little Dribblers will be playing. The Little Dribblers will need to be at the gym at 5:45PM to check in with their coaches. Also, just a reminder, the Savage Heat Basketball Senior Night will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, against Two Eagle River.

Due to freezing rain, road conditions and the safety of our staff and students, today, January 22, 2024, Hot Springs School District will have a 2-hour delay. Buses will be running two hours late with school starting at 10AM. Doors to the school will open at 9:45AM. There will NOT be breakfast. Please drive safe.

This is to inform you that at approximately 8:30 pm this evening, our district, along with several other school districts across the state, received a bomb threat. We want to assure you that we are actively in communication with our partners in law enforcement to address this matter with the utmost seriousness and diligence.
While we want to emphasize that the threat is not believed to be credible, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community remain our top priority. As a precautionary measure, we have taken necessary steps to ensure the security of our school facilities.
As of now, Hot Springs Public Schools plan to continue with our regular school schedule. However, we are closely monitoring the situation, and should there be any change, we will notify you immediately through our official communication channels.
We understand that events like these can be unsettling, and we want to reassure you that all necessary precautions are being taken to maintain a safe environment within our schools. We appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and support during this time.

The heating system in the elementary is down. School for K through 5 students is canceled today. Junior High and High School will remain in session. Doors will open at 9:50am.
School will return to a regular schedule tomorrow, Tuesday 1/15/2024, for all students K-12.
Due to extreme temperatures forecasted for the morning of Monday, January 15, 2024, Hot Springs Public Schools will do a late start. Buses will not run morning routes, but will run normal routes at the end of the school day. Doors will open at 9:50 am and classes will begin at 10:00 am. Breakfast will not be served.
JH Savage Heat Basketball Game has been CANCELLED on Thursday, January 11, 2024, and rescheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
